mkv works in wmp but not in wmc

i can play a mkv fine in wmp but wmc cannot play the files... im working with 32x win7

try pressing [Reset All]

this works. but then i loose the dts bitstream. when i change to dts bitstream, i cannot play the mkv

do you have a current release installed?

do not UPGRADE - uninstall - install new.

i uninstalled & installed the latest release. the problem remains. if i choose bitstream for true dts, it works fine with wmp but wmc cant play the file

thanks a lot. the problem was the control setting for my gpu-audio
