mp4 playback pixelated / blocky
Using the default installed settings with the latest Win7Codec and WMC (with MediaBrowser) I have pixelated / blocky video with mp4 files. When I change the settings to the Shark007 Recommended settings, then the mp4 files have a long (30+ second) delay before the video starts, but once it starts it plays properly (no pixelation / blocky video). I have changed all sorts of settings trying to locate the issue, and have thrown in the towel. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you! |

RE: mp4 playback pixelated / blocky
Thank you for your amazingly fast response! I was expecting at least a day to go by having to deal with the delay, instead you answered immediately. It makes me wish I had asked for help sooner. I've spent quite a few hours over the last week researching and trying to resolve the issue. That seemed to fix the problem. Thank you again!!

Hello such, when playing videos. mp4 and. mkv image slows the audio quite right, I use ffdshow and disable the microsoft video decoder with past revisions that had no problem, try everything and still does not play well those formats. uninstall and reinstall everything, reset all, ....... some solution, but I'll have to reinstall the 3.5.2 version hehe. with 2 players 32 and 64 bit error happens. greetings |

The fact that you disabled UAC is the most likely problem. uninstall the codecs, set UAC to the 'Default' position, reboot, re-install the codecs. |

I use windows media center in conjunction with a tv tuner card to watch live and record tv. After I disabled the Microsoft Video decoder, i was unable to watch live or recorded television. Is there any solution for this? |
