.mp4 thumbnail previews

I am not getting thumbnail previews for .mp4 video downloads. I have entered .mp4 as one of the icaros thumbnail file types. Others work ok, such as .flv, .avi. If I convert the .mp4 file to .avi, I then get the thumbnail preview. I upgraded to 3.5.5 but still no .mp4 thumbnail preview.

Most likely these MP4 files have a wrong file extension.
On the Misc TAB is a tool to [Analyze a media file]
Use that tool on a MP4 that is not thumbed and post the output here.

The file extension is .mp4. The analyzer tool calls the format MPEG-4. Should I add MPEG-4 to the Icaros list? I already have .mp4 in the list.

I am withdrawing my complaint. I tried downloading a .mp4 video from another site and the thumbnail displayed. Apparently the thumbnail problem is only with one website.
