I probably should have waited until SP2 came out. just today I was testing Nvidia hardware and had problems with the 285.62 drivers. The version I suggested to you gave me the best results. The newer BETA's had thier own problems but the version I suggested seems to give the best results. after installing the new drivers, reboot your computer and also use [Reset All] begin testing with default settings |

for me, almost all files play on default settings except for VC1 encodes and M2TS files. these 2 formats are handled by use of the SUGGESTED settinngs checkbox |

I did a fresh Windows 7 install 1/11/2012. I had Vista but the installation DVD only offered a fresh install. I saved my old user files. Of course all my old user files had Administrator as Owner. Resetting all those files was a learning experience to say the least. Also run as Administrator is chosen each time. |
