no subtitles

hi,

i get no subtitles while using lav filter in mkv video file , it is show fine hali (had to uninstall win8codec and install win7codec )

what with that??

Simple solution... dont use LAV/PDVD OR, dont use WMP.
For WMP, set the Microsoft decoder if you want subtitles.

There is NO visual diffference from one decoder to the other.

well you know

just installed Win8 CP today

thought to go with Win8 codec (which turn out to only include lav) it cross my mind as lighter package

the subs is fuctional after switched back to win7 codec (hali)

after some search i guess it is lav limitation, what a shame

Same thing here, no matter how I change the settings.

Same result as Windows Media Player or Home Cinema

Installing the wind7codecs 352 version, the subtitles reappear
