ffdshow for AVI instead of - themib - 04-13-2012 04:09 AM

I would like to use ffdshow as codec to get subtitles and to make use of media control. After some trial and error I got it working as desired for MKV. However AVI is still rendered using another codec (usually LAV). I selected Hali splitter and ffdshow wherever possible in the settings. How do I change that behaviour?

If you are using Windows 7 x64, could it be the "bug" in the Settings under "Config -->FFDshow Video config":

Set to "libavcodec"!
Here are my full FFDshow-DXVA-Settings.

Thanks!! That was the issue. You are my hero. I would have _never_ found that bug.

If SHARK007 is healthy again, he will fix this bug for sure!
