AVI video - screen tearing, video hangs after a few seconds - Haisook - 05-26-2012 05:04 AM All my AVI files work perfectly, except one which just hangs after a few seconds, and shows excessive tearing, making the video non-viewable. Here's the file details from Gspot: Code: File Name : Marebito.2004.DVDRip.XviD-PROMiSE_new.aviAnything I can do about it? Using Win7 x64. Thanks. RE: AVI video - screen tearing, video hangs after a few seconds - mad - 05-26-2012 06:06 AM Hi Haisook, if it is only one AVI file, it is probably corrupted/badly encoded. I do not see anything unusual about the file. But try changing the AVI splitter in the Shark setting application (AVIˇRM tab). If it does not help, try remuxing it to a .mkv file with Metafox (Shark´s tool page). Easy drag-n-drop the avi into the app. |
