Quicktime audio: no 5.1 (6 channel) - toon64 - 08-15-2012 01:52 PM
I have Nvidia audio connected to AVR via HDMI.
I tried a number of guides on the forum and I can't get 5.1 sound through quicktime. I tried setting sound device in windows 7 both to stereo and 7.1. Quicktime audio is AAC but the suggestions to set 5.1 AAC don't work in quicktime (at least, not for me)
help?

quicktime is a self contained player.
My software releases have no effect on playback in this player.
