This release contains x64 versions of the Haali media splitters
and a stable release of the subtitle render,
DirectVobSub for x64
MKV playback is fully supported.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
This release is designed to compliment the 32bit release packages.
The x64 Components addon requires the 32bit release to be installed as a prerequisite.
Please ensure that you also have the 32bit release installed for full
functionality.
The latest release contains a 64bit Settings Application which enables the user to choose a different splitters 'on the fly' for specific filetypes. The application will also allow you to choose from 10 different speaker configurations from 'same as input' and all the way up to full 7.1 channel output.
The Settings Application is 100% UAC compliant.
Restricted access is enforced. (User Account
Control)
The Application allows each user to maintain individual settings while at
the same time seamlessly integrating any administrative commands directly
into the users account. New users accounts are detected upon opening the
Application and automatically inherit the Administrators settings.
In the future, I plan to design full standalone x64 installers.
Development has not begun.
Currently, the x64 Components require the 32bit release to be installed as a
prerequisite.
Some Useful Information
2 versions of Windows Media Player exist on x64 systems.
There is a 32bit version stored in \Program Files (x86)\
and a 64bit version stored in \Program Files\
The Settings Application will allow you to choose the
system's default player.
Observation noted
One other aspect of Windows Media Player(s) on x64 systems needs to be
mentioned. If you associate a particular filetype to open with WMP while the
system default is set to use the 64bit player, that filetype will always
open the 64bit player when double-clicked. This occurs even if you change
the system default back to using the 32bit player.

You will experience reduced functionality using a 32bit package other
than those from this site.
