Image on folder that shows there are files in the folder keeps getting lost

#1
I'm having a strange problem, I hope I'll be able to explain it so it makes sense. Normally, I build an Icaros cache and mostly rely on it. When my Windows thumb cache starts getting too big, I clear it. In the past, when I did this, I would still have thumbnails without having to generate them all again; I assumed this was because of the Icaros cache. But the other day I hit a snag I can't seem to fix. There's one folder that won't retain it's folder image that shows the folder has files in it (See image). When I clear the Windows thumb cache it disappears. The only way I can get it back is to rename the folder. I don't know if Icaros is failing to cache this particular folder. If so, why? I tried rebuilding my Icaros cache but it didn't help. The image is there until I clear the Windows thumb cache, then it's gone. I only does it on this one folder. Just thought I would post this here and see if a solution can be found. Thanks.

Ho yeah. I found something that appears to fix it. Right-click on the folder>Properties>Customize>Folder Pictures>Restore Default. It's sticking when I clear the Windows thumb cache so hopefully it stays that way.  Smile
