Just installed 17.2.5 and sharks MPC-BE on a new laptop

plugged into my older Sony 4K TV. mkv files that are 23.976 are playing at 60fps. 

plugged into the Game/PC port on my AVR and passthrough is enabled.

Is this just a function of the TV only?

Is there some kind of visual descrepency that you are experiencing?
If not, then I suggest you watch more video's and less statistics.
