Full Version: No Thumbnails in OneDrive folder, even after downloading files

I've read that activating "files on demand" in Onedrive breaks the thumbnail generation, and that even Icaros can't do anything about it. I get this would be the case for files only in the server, since there's be no actual data beyond the file name in my computer for a thumbnail to be generated. But this problem extends to downloaded files in a Onedrive subfolder also. It's like Icaros can't read them, even though they are stored in my hard drive. I tried disabling the Controlled Folder Access but it didn't help.

Is this the normal behavior or am I missing something to give Icaros access to the Onedrive folder?
Hi jose,

I tested this recently, and well it actually looks like one of the latest OneDrive updates has broken thumbnailing even with
files that has been downloaded to your drive locally. For some reason these files, in the OneDrive directory, does not request a
thumbnail via the shell.
The only way I could get them to work, was by disabling "files on demand", which is not really a viable option for most users.
I hope MS will fix this in a future update.
