I tried to play AV1 videos in WMP (with default settings), but no luck (see attachments).
After few seconds with audio only, WMP stops with error.

On the MP4 TAB/control, choose to disable Media Foundation for MP4

Ok, now all AV1 video files are playing fine.
Is this a final solution or a temporary one?
As you can see in the last attachment, nothing about AV1 codecs in system.
I understand that with DirectShow is ok. Should I install a third party AV1 codec for Windows Media Foundation? It will be added in Shark007 package in future releases?

I provide a Directshow solution for media playback.

Mediafoundation codecs are not fully supported by WMP.
You would need to use the Microsoft provided "Media Player" for Mediafoundation playback.

I do provide access to Mediafoundation codecs for download on the HELP TAB of my Application.
I DO NOT provide support for the Mediafoundation codecs.
