3.2.1 b1 crashes

Hello,

Icaros seems to crash on some files (different filetypes, but it seems Icaros fails for all .flv), resulting in thumbnails not displayed (in DEBUG tools they are all OK) and in my case Windows Explorer crashes when displaying default location.

Per-thumbnail issues look all the same (Windows Event Viewer):

Hi Xyzzy,

Please try and disable Caching in Icaros, then go to the Cache page and Clear the cache.
Disabling the Cache should stop the crashes.
Try enabling the cache again and see if the crashes still persist.

If possible, could you send me your Icaros cache files before you clear them?
Would love to see I can find the cause of the crash.

Hi,

Icaros cache C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Icaros\IcarosCache is now empty.
When I enabled thumbnails in Icaros and tried to open Explorer, Explorer crashed again. Icaros cache folder was still empty.

So I disabled Icaros thumbnails, opened IcarosConfig on Tools.Debug, opened Explorer  and dragged all Recent entries to the IC debug window -> IC dialog disappared (it crashed).
As far as I could determine, this is because some file is on a network share (\\SERVER\share\some\path\video.avi) - the same file is tthunbnailed OK from a local drive.

So probably (?) Explorer crashed because Icaros crashed for such file.
