Show icons instead of thumbnails for JPGs?

#1
I wouldn't call this an Icaros issue, but it's about thumbnails and icons and I've exhausted all other resources I can think of.

In Explorer, I want to keep show thumbnails not icons enabled; the reason for this is so I can have interactive folders that change the folder images based on what files are inside. However, I'd like to be able to only show icons for JPG. I already have removed this extension from Icaros' filetypes, but with the "global" show thumbnails in Explorer enabled, it still generates thumbs for JPGs. Some programs have custom icon settings that allow this to be overridden, but IrfanView can't do it.

So, anyone know of a third-party utility that can do it? Thanks and have a nice day.

Normally this wouldn't be too hard to accomplish with most other filetypes, but the jpg integration in Windows is quite persistent and
doesn't always react how you would expect.

For example, when users prefer Icaros to thumbnail jpgs, they may run into issues where images in various places in the OS no longer
shows up correctly.

Or in your case, if you try to disable jpg thumbnailing in the registry, which is a fairly simple process, jpgs may still generate thumbnails
in Explorer.

So I unfortunately don't know of a solution to this particular issue at this time.
