Possible for Icaros to cache Folder Thumbnails?

#1
I've been creating a Static Cache of certain folders that contain lots of Movies/TV Shows in them. When I open a folder that contains lots of video files, the thumbnails load super fast. However, when I open a folder that contains lots of folders that have videos in them, I have to wait for Explorer to load thumbnails each time. Is there a way for Icaros to build it's own cache of folder thumbnails? Yes I know that Explorer caches folder thumbnails, but I currently have Windows Thumbnail Caching disabled and am solely using Icaros for thumbnail caching. Also just to be clear, I'm not talking about any custom folder icons/thumbnails that I've set, I'm just talking about the default folder thumbnails that get generated by Windows. See attachment for an example.

The Icaros Cache does actually index folder thumbnails.
Unfortunately there is no way to cache the entire "folder thumbnail", but it caches the two thumbnails that Windows uses to generate the the actual folder thumbnail,
which should speed up the process. With that said, there is still some post processing that Explorer does to produce the final thumbnail with the envelope apperance.

I do wish I improve this feature, but a lot of the post-processing Explorer performs on the thumbnails it receives from Thumbnail Providers,
can't be controlled or modified by third-party developers.

Well that's a bummer. I really don't see any noticeable difference in the time it takes Explorer to generate the Folder Thumbnails with Icaros On/Off. I'm guessing any difference made by Icaros must be in the milliseconds. It's definitely not the noticeable difference that I can see when Icaros is caching File Thumbnails.

Is there a way for Icaros to generate thumbnails when the user has Disabled "Always show icons, never thumbnails" option? Would be nice to just prevent Explorer from doing anything and then just having Icaros in complete control. I'm sure you've already investigated this and I'm sure the answer is probably no, but I figured I'd ask anyways just to confirm.
