Suggestion of adding support for photo RAW files

#1
Hello.

I am using Icaros for couple of years and I am enjoying it! Amazing software and I like the ability of thumbnail support for .aiff files in windows explorer. Thank you!

My question - suggestion is if there is possibility to add support to Icaros to see thumbnails of image/photo RAW files (.CR2,.CR3,.DNG,.ARW,.NEF..etc)
As on Windows 10/11 those RAW format files are possible to see as thumbnails in windows explorer only if Microsoft RAW Extension is installed, but it is very buggy and not works as expected unfortunately.

Integrated Microsoft RAW extension for Windows 10/11 is working very bad and for example on my system it does not show correct orientation for RAW file thumbnails in windows explorer...
I t would be so awesome to add support for image RAW files in Icaros!
Thank you!

Hi,

Thank you so much for the kind words!

I believe most RAW image formats are mostly variations of the tiff format, but I'm not sure how
well supported these filetypes are in FFmpeg.

I can try and look into it but I won't promise anything.
Could you add this feature request to the issue tracker, that way I won't forgot about it.
